Between May 24th and June 6th, 2010 Galveston Police Officers issued the following citations while working an overtime traffic detail funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation:
398 Seatbelt Citations
207 Child Safety Seat Citations
172 Other Traffic Citations
A total of 777 Citations were written during the Click It or Ticket Campaign.

 A convenience store clerk told police a man brandishing a gun fled with $2,000, authorities said Tuesday.
