Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

 A convenience store clerk and customer were robbed at gunpoint, and police are seeking tips in finding the suspect, authorities said Thursday. The robber wore a black leather cap, hooded sweatshirt, jeans and tennis shoes when he entered at Ocean Food Store, 611 Sixth St., at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday and took $770, police said. No injuries were reported. The robber was described as black, in his late 30s to early 40s, about 230 pounds, 5-feet 9-inches tall, with a gold tooth and rimmed glasses. Police asked anyone with information to call detective Fred Paige at 409-765-3766.
