This form is specifically designed for the reporting of abandoned vehicles which do not require an urgent police response.

An abandoned vehicle is classed as a vehicle that is not stolen, has no registered keeper, and has been left on a public roadway.

When not to use this form:

A crime is happening now

The vehicle has been set on fire

If the vehicle has been involved in an accident and someone may still be inside or injured

The vehicle is a dangerous position
