Office of Professional Standards
The Office of Professional Standards is a specialized, investigative and administrative unit that is designed to ensure that the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and quality of public service are upheld and maintained throughout our agency.
The Office of Professional Standard is charged with four main functions:
¢ Conducting Internal/Administrative investigations prompted by a citizen complaint or by the Chief of Police.
¢ Developing, updating, and maintaining the Directives, Policies, and Procedures for the agency.
¢ Conducting Administrative/Staff Inspections of the internal components of the agency to ensure continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness in and throughout the agency.
