Course Description:
D.E.L.E. is a course designed for both Officers assigned to specialized divisions, i.e. Warrants, Narcotics, SWAT, Anit-Crime, etc, and to line level Patrol Officers wanting to further their CQB/Entry Skills. Dynamic Entry for Law Enforcement is designed to give the student an overview of Close-Quarter Combat Skills as well as Dynamic Entry and approach techniques. Principals stressed during the class include; 2-4 Man CQB / Room Clearing, Suspect Encounters, approaches, breaching techniques, and raid planning. These principals will be taught and emphasized using drills that accurately resemble real-world deployment. Several different locations will be used in the course of the training and the class will culminate in a force on force exercise in which the students will have to plan and execute a raid on an undisclosed location.
Prerequisites: Active duty Law Enforcement

Standard Duty / Tactical “Rig”
Flashlight
Simunition Markers / Sim Ammo (If available, not required)
Eye Pro / Paintball Mask
Seasonally Appropriate Attire
Rain Gear
Notes:
Class will be held at several different locations over the two days, some inside, some outside. Bring seasonally appropriate clothing and be prepared to be outside.

Combat Pistol Operations

Course Description:
Combat Pistol Operations is a course designed to take basic defensive pistol shooters and introduce them to principals that will allow them to more effectively engage threats during a dynamic combat incident. Principals stressed during the class include; shooting while moving, multiple target engagement, unconventional shooting platforms, combat reloads, single hand manipulation, etc. These principals will be taught and emphasized using drills that accurately resemble real-world deployment. As such, this course will stress engaging threats within limited amounts of time and many of the drills will be shot “on the clock”.
Prerequisites: Active duty Law Enforcement
Equipment Needed:
Semi-Auto Pistol (Minimum of 9mm)
Min 3 Magazines
300 Rounds
Duty or Tactical Holster/“Rig” capable of retaining both weapon and magazines
Hearing / Eye Pro
Seasonally Appropriate Attire
Rain Gear
Weapon Cleaning Gear
MEETING LOCATION:
Students will meet at the LONE STAR FLIGHT MUSEUM parking lot (next to the Jet) located at 2002 Terminal Dr. Galveston, TX 77554. Our range is located at the airport and we must cross active runways to reach it. We will be departing the parking lot and crossing the airport promptly at 0800HRS, please make all arrangements to be on time.
Notes:
The majority of the class will be held on an outdoor range so be prepared to be outside, i.e. bring water, hats, sunglasses, bugspray etc, as is seasonally appropriate.

Aikido for Law Enforcement
Course Length: One Day – 8 HRS

Course Description:
The Intermediate Use of Force Course is designed to provide students with a basic
overview of Aikido techniques that can directly be applied to law enforcement Officers
and their everyday duties. Aikido, a Japanese martial art, is preformed by blending with
the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it
head on. It is also one of the few martial arts that takes responsibility for the attacker’s
safety which causes the least amount of bodily injury to the attacker. Drills and
techniques taught in the course are directly related to situations Patrol and Police Officers
find themselves in on a daily basis and will closely resemble real-world deployment.
Principals stressed in the course will include: come along techniques, arm pinning
techniques, subject take down techniques, etc.
Prerequisites:
Active duty Law Enforcement
Physical Requirements:
Students should be in decent physical condition with no health concerns that would limit
mobility; however, techniques can be adjusted for those with limited flexibility. This is
an active course and students will be required to demonstrate Aikido tactics throughout
the class.

Notes:
Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows plenty of mobility, i.e. gym attire,
t-shirt, wind pants, 5.11 style pants, BDU’s, jeans, etc. Long pants are require, NO
SHORTS.
